Job Requirements for Delivery Driver Position
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
ADVERTISING
- Must hold a full, clean NZ driver’s licence
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting and installing large appliances
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
- Friendly and professional with strong communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a can-do attitude
- Willingness to follow procedures and uphold safety standards
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
Responsibilities for Delivery Driver Position
- Safely deliver appliances and tech products to customer homes
- Install whiteware items and remove packaging or old units as needed
- Communicate clearly and politely with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Determine the best way to enter and install products in various home setups
- Maintain the delivery vehicle and ensure product safety during transit
- Represent Noel Leeming with professionalism on every visit
- Follow all health and safety protocols while on the job
- Assist team members when needed to complete delivery schedules efficiently
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery areas and vehicles remain clean and organized
- Help with documentation and product tracking as required
- Provide feedback on customer experiences or delivery challenges
- Support the installation and service team as needed
- Maintain a high standard of appearance, safety, and courtesy at all times
Work Conditions
- Physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and appliance installation
- Outdoor and indoor work in various environments
- Interacting with customers in homes and properties across Auckland
