Job Requirements for Construction Labourer Position

  • A secondary (high school) graduation certificate
  • Previous experience in construction (asset, but not required)
  • Good physical fitness for manual labour tasks
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A safety-conscious mindset and willingness to follow site protocols
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder)

Responsibilities for Construction Labourer Position

  • Transport construction materials
  • Assist in building demolition work
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites
  • Operate or tend machines and equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Grease and maintain equipment components such as booms, pulleys, and buckets
  • Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Support the project team as needed
